Source: WikipediaIts seems there is a bit of trouble in paradise or should I say Google headquarters? Seems Google has been loosing mant top employees to Facebook of all places. Could it be that Facebook is giving the big “G” a bit of competition?
Forbes had a few words on the subject:
“Poor Google. Its stock has been sliding since the beginning of the year. Now key executives and engineers are trickling out and heading to the Internet’s latest darling, Facebook.”
“Within the last year, other Googlers have departed for Facebook. Among them: Gideon Yu, former chief financial officer at YouTube, Google’s video-sharing site, who is now chief financial officer at Facebook; and top engineers Benjamin Ling and Justin Rosenstein.”
OUCH! I wonder if the top brains at Google saw this coming?
The backlash from this is going to be pretty interesting to follow.
Hey There!
