It has been confirmed by various webmasters that they have been seeing PR movement today. Looks like we are in for another partial maybe even full PageRank update.

PR update is now under way. You may have noticed a huge PR drop in many sites over the past 24hours, but don’t freak out! PR is now picking back up and is updating fairly quickly. For those of you expecting a good increase and have been shocked to see a drop - don’t worry - give it time and if you have worked hard I’m sure you will see an increase. Many times PR will drop to zero before increasing.

It has been a brutal wait for some webmasters who have been waiting for a PR update since July of this year. Finally you should see your work payoff over the next short while.

For those of you who don’t see any PR changes this time, keep working hard, stay on topic and promote your sites to the best of your ability and it will payoff.

Just always keep in mind that this PR deal is only good while it lasts - you never know when G will get tired and PR will be no more. Keeping this is mind remember to build your sites for your viewers and not for G.  :wink:

One of the greatest new ways to advertise is to sponsor a blog post.

What does this mean?

When you sponsor a blog post you receive a complete blog post dedicated to your sites keywords. The keywords are used various time throughout the post to create relativity. You select an anchor text (keyword) to be used as a link to your site or page. This creates a topic orientated inbound link to your site. This also scores points with google.

The blog post should not be an advertisement type post, but rather an informative post about the topic, product or service with a keyword link to your site. You will want to stay away from lines like “The Best…” , “wow look here” and so on.

Blog posts are much more valuable than regular links. While a regular inbound link is good and will help your site, a blog post that is structured around your sites keywords is of greater value due to the context.

How much should I pay to sponsor a blog post?

On an average most blog posts can be purchased for as little as $3.00. This would give you a keyword structured blog post with a keyword anchor text link to your site or page. Now for a blog post on a site with a google PR the price would increase accordingly. If you are not skilled in writing or just don’t have the time to write your own post most sites will offer a writing service and complete the post for you. If the blog post is supplied for you this would also increase the price by a few dollars.

Using the above guide lets say we want to sponsor a blog post on a PR3 site and would like it to be 200 words with 2 links to our site.

As you can see the price for sponsoring a blog post can vary pending on what is to be included. 

Although sponsoring a blog post is most valuable to your site, don’t get caught overpaying.

I’ve been keeping close tabs on a few of my major sites lately and I stumbled across something very interesting about my sitemaps, it’s the most viewed page on my sites.
