As we are only covering basic SEO steps we will wrap things up today with submissions. Now that your pages are ready its time to let the world know they exist.
Site Submission
You will want to be sure you have submitted your site to all the major search engines. Most smaller engines feed off the major ones, so I wouldn’t worry too much about them. You will want to try and get your site listed with Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL and other large engines like these. Now if you don’t have the time you can always use a site submission service to do the job for you.
RSS Submission
Now that you have a great RSS feed you will want to share it will all the RSS feed sharing sites. There are literally tons of these sites so this may become a bit time consuming. Again if you can’t be bothered there is always the option of using an RSS submission service to get the job done.
Sitemap Submission
There are three major places you will want to submit your sitemap; Yahoo, Google and MSN. You will need an account at all of these places.
Now that you have put some basic SEO on to your pages and let the search engines and the world know they exist, you can now move on with more advanced SEO for both on-page and off-page, but we will get more into that later.

Personally I think out of all of those RSS/Sitemap is the only important submission. Links are the new site submission, if you got em’ than google will crawl your site anyway right?
