The team over at WordPress are hard at work and have already come out with a new release, WordPress 2.5.1 This release focuses on over 70 bug fixes.

Here are some of the updates:

• Performance improvements for the Dashboard, Write Post, and Edit Comments pages.
• Better performance for those who have many categories
• Media Uploader fixes
• An upgrade to TinyMCE 3.0.7
• Widget Administration fixes
• Various usability improvements
• Layout fixes for IE

There are over 70 other fixes that come with this release.
