Have successfully upgraded WordPress 2.3 to WordPress 2.5 using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin with zero issues. The process was simple, clean and quick.

I must say the plugin is a handy little tool for upgrading your WordPress blog. Now yes I do realize that Fantastico also offers automatic upgraded for WordPress, however the difference is time. With the automatic upgrade plugin, upgrades are available to you as soon as they are released as “Stable” versions on the WordPress site whereas with Fantastico you are looking at a wait of at least two weeks after a new version has been released.
