Its a common debate White Hat vs Black Hat; in the end is it really worth the risk?

What is Black Hat SEO?

An approach to SEO that pushes the boundaries of ethical practice as well as terms of service. 

What is White Hat SEO?

Techniques that fall within the terms of service of the search engines. Building useful online content, labeling pages correctly, gaining high quality in-bound links from relevant sites etc. 

While Black Hat tactics tend to produce faster results, but is it really worth taking the chance of having your site banned? My answer is no.

Lets think using logic for just a moment:

You spend a large amount of money on Black Hat tricks to get your SERPs up and you end up being #1 for your targeted keyword - Then you get caught and banned from the search engine - Guess what you are not #1 anymore, you are not even #9999999999 - Get It?

Now while White Hat may take a little longer, you can feel secure in knowing that your results will be valid and not get you banned.  Keep your hats white and your sites strong - It will pay off.
